Interested in understanding if there are plans to enhance the data / analytics available around the KB functionality.

  1. Are there plans to make data available via an API end point?
  2. How do we measure the effectiveness of providing content for user searches
    • How many articles were returned on the user query results
    • Were there any zero results
    • Can I export search terms into a CSV file
  3. Can we fire a custom event to Gainsight to track when an article is clicked?
  4. Will you have better widgets so I can create a comprehensive dashboard covering ALL of my KBs in a single view rather than having to open every one of them.

It would also be great to be able to see the search terms used, and also whether people are clicking links added to the KC bot.

KC bot analytics now show search terms and can show clicked links. It would be great if we could incorporate these metrics into a dashboard widget, so that I could look at metrics across KC bots.

Agree here, it would be a great improvement if we could see if they clicked on something from the search and what it was, pretty hard to determine if the search results are helping right now.

@lpicone @mmarques we are working on providing improved Search analytics on the KCBot. Today we provide the keywords that were searched on the KCBot by the users. With the enhancement we are working on you should be able to see what results were clicked by the end-users and also we are checking the feasibility to provide details on the searches that came up after a specific keyword was searched.

As far as a quick dashboard or widgets to help understand the analytics of all KCBots is something we will add to roadmap.

I really miss the option to measure the clicks on the articles i display on the bot. Right now everyone who have seen the bot open (which i do automatically in some cases), counts the visible articles as viewed immediatly.

Is there a way to count clicks on them or something? How you @gainsight measuring the performance of this page??
