Question

Report on individual scorecard metrics

I need to build a report on a single scorecard metric that groups and averages scores by industry.  When I use the GS Scorecard object in Reports 2.0, I can only seem to report on the score of all scorecards.  UI views shows me individual scorecards, but it lists every single customer.

Has anyone else successfully been able to report on something like this?

Scott - Have you tried using Reports 2.0 with Scorecard Fact as the source Object, then you could Show "Avg of Current Score Value" and have By: Account.Industry.  Your filter should be set to the "Metric Id Name" for the specific individual metric you are looking to report on.

Hi Denise,

I'm on Scorecard Fact in Reports 2.0 right now and I got the average value, but I also want to break it down by percentage of each scorecard label so I can see the amount of red/yellow/green.  Any ideas for displaying that?

Scott, I use the Scorecard Fact object and report on the Metric Id Name. I'm using Stacked Bar. In chart options, there is a choice for Show Percentages (also need to choose Show Data Points to see % on the chart).

Jumping in on this as I've recently had what I think is a similar issue. We have our scorecard scheme set to numeric (0-100) with the standard color bands applied. When you group by the Metric Id Name you get the number: (0, 10, 57, 74, 78, 100, etc.) and there seems to be no way to group those into their bands (red, red, yellow, yellow, green, green).

Whether you're trying to group that by industry (as Scott was originally) or by CSM (like I was) I haven't found a solution.

Jeff - We did add label fields in our last release to make this kind of reporting much easier.  See the article link below for enabling it.  This uses the Label set up in your Scorecard Configuration.  I think this is what you are looking for but let me know if there is a barrier to getting the report view you are looking for.

The link provided is based on previous Scorecard functionality.  Is there an updated document for Scorecards 2.0?  I can't see my Scorecard measures when building my reports.
