As of now we cannot add multi picklist in Group By of Report builder and users were longing for this option, so could you please look into this and provide a soulution or implement this in our Product.

+3We have a use case @sai_ram_pulluri! We recently reformatted out 'license version' field to be a multi picklist since there could technically be multiple contracts on an account with different license versions. We have historically shown accounts by license version in a pie chart on our CSM dashboards, but cannot with this limitation.
+5We have a multi-picklist for a Contact level field for training certifications. In reporting, if we could group by this field we could better track certifications to Health Score and other measures.
