It would be great to have the ability to customize the “Welcome Message” on the Knowledge Center Bot. Ideally we could set one screen for it to show on and then the rest of the Gainsight screens would show just the Bot icon. It can start to be irritating to have to close the Welcome Message on every page.

Agreed. The welcome message is helpful the first time, but then it blocks critical UI elements for us. So we turned the welcome message off.

 

We are working around this with a “message” engagement that makes people aware of the bot for now (with a screenshot and arrow pointing), but it is not ideal.

 

It seems like a simple fix to make the bot welcome message be slightly more configurable.

@jrod  Great suggestion! Because I agree, we plan to turn it off as well but would love for new users to be able to see it.
