It would be helpful if we have an option to skip those accounts having same milestones by rules(milestone field is not available in customer info object) and also to avoid creating same CTA's for those accounts which are closed recently.

If we had an option to say,

Don't create a CTA if one was created already in last N days with same priority + reason + Account + CTA name. Basically the same condition which prevents creation of multiple CTA's now when the rule runs daily, we can extend the same for closed ones too.

Similar enhancements needs to be done on Milestones with what will be considered as unique identifier in that case.

Would this feature help?

I would like to see flexibility and control on the criteria for when a rule based CTA is created that might duplicate an existing CTA. I have situations today where a Rep creates a business review CTA, and then the rule creates a duplicate one. So, being able to override the criteria within the rule, for example don't create if there is an existing open CTA with the same reason.

Although we now have the option to include a tokenized name as part of the "de-duplication criteria" for creation of a new CTA, this diagram outlines the default behavior you can leverage to prevent duplication of an OPEN CTA.  Closed CTAs are not considered in this evaluation.
Sundar - can you confirm if priority is considered in the out of the box de-dupe criteria?

You are right, It is not part of de-dupe.
If the priority of the CTA to be created is greater than the existing then priority is updated.

Yes, this helps! Duplication of the closed one's also need to be prevented. Thanks.

Thanks Denise....so you are saying if the existing CTA matches just the Type and Reason, then the new Rule based CTA is not created, even if the Subjects don't match?

That is correct.  Make sure you do NOT check the box by the CTA Name which say "Include in identifiers" - that would pull the name in as part of the criteria.

For each Load to Milestone, when using Salesforce data, I would like the original ID to be tracked with the Milestone (behind the scenes) and have the option never to load a record with that ID every again (Upsert).
