With the upcoming release of notes, we are excited to begin leveraging them with our team. It would be great to be able to port over notes from another internal system to have a history of the customer in the C360.

It would also be helpful as our CSM team begins to move more into Gainsight. This would allow the CSM to work in one place instead of multiple.

*Note - The notes from another system are not in SFDC.

Totally!   This will not be possible in the first (technically beta) release but agree that it is super important.  Question: would a scheme where you upload to S3 and use Rules Engine to populate from there be what makes sense to you?  Other thoughts on how this should work?

Most likely it will go through S3 into MDA then mapped by the Rules Engine.

Hi Lane,

Is this more like a one-time/ad-hoc export and import situation, or more ongoing connectivity with your internal system(s)? Also, do you happen to know what format these notes would be in (csv, text files, etc.)?

It would be an ongoing connectivity. We would most likely do CSV. We would export from our system. Import into MDA. Run a rule to write them to the account timeline.
