Enable mass edit the activity timeline object

We're redoing the way we categorize activities in the timeline. We are merging a few of the existing categories and getting rid of others. It would be ideal not to have to do this manually. I was going to use Mass Edit but that only works for CTAs and Tasks.

Would have been nice to be able to use that functionality to activity timeline entries too

Hi Irit,

Thanks for the post.

By categories, do you mean the activity types? The activity form can be different for each activity types (with custom fields). So, changing activity types may not be possible always.

Thanks,

+1 to this. We're making updates to the way we log activities to make it more user friendly. For example: We have one activity type for Call - Connect and another for Call - Left Voicemail. We would like to consolidate and have one activity type for Call and add checkboxes on the layout for Connect vs Left Voicemail.

I'd like to be able to add the checkbox value on older activities, but cannot mass edit timeline activities.

+1 This has become a really important request for our CSMs and we would love the ability to mass edit timeline activity type, especially when making internal changes to the types.

When we moved to NXT, we had to have support replicate with mapping in the backend all of our timeline and CTAs bc of this. It would be great to be able to modify these
