Question

Capturing relationship type in timeline reporting

I'm excited about creating reports based off of activities in timeline.  I started to do this, but found that I can't pull in the relationship name (product/account combo in my case) when I create a report using the "activity timeline" field.  Has anyone gotten around this without using bionic rules?  I'm still learning, so baby steps would be helpful!

Hi Stella,

All account and relationship attributes are directly available in 'Activity Timeline' object. To add relationship name, add Relationship ID > Name field in show fields

To add relationship type, select Relationship ID > Type ID > Name in show fields

Thanks,
Nitisha

Just to add to Nitisha's comments: If you are not seeing any data when you pull the 'Name' field in, please go to 'Administration -> Gainsight Connect' to check if Relationship data is getting synced to MDA. You can find more details here on how to enable this feature.

Thanks, Nitisha and Manu.  The combination of these posts give me the info that I need.
