Right now, if a churn transaction is added to a customer record, you cannot add subsequent transactions because the customer is no longer Active. This is plenty sensible, but it doesn't factor for "boomerang" customers who churn and the return as active customers or customers that purchase multiple products and churns from one and not others.

To add subsequent transactions today, you have to change the churn transaction to something like "Renewal with downsell; $0 opportunity", and then you can add a New Business transaction to track the new subscription.

This solution works ok, but it would be more intuitive to be able to add transactions subsequent to churn transactions that would reactivate churned customers.

Came across an account that had been merged in our instance and thought for a second that this had been implemented. Really hope this is taken up for consideration, is it's a pain to manage transactions for returning customers or customers who we'd like to start a new/seperate transaction thread for who had previously churned.
