C360 Layouts
Would be great if you could assign the layout and configure it in the same location instead of having to go to two places.

Thanks for the feedback Heather.
We internally debated regarding the exact point whether layouts assignment should be part of the individual layouts or should it be a central UI.We decided to go ahead with the second approach because -
a. Ease of Layout Configuration - As you can see from the layout configuration screen , the admin can select one account/customer info attribute and/or one user attribute and assign layouts. This makes it easy for the UI to be centrally located and choose the attribute and configure layouts.
b. Ease of Layout Management - Central Layout assignments gives the admin clear control in managing layouts from one single screen. If there are any changes to be done to the criteria to .As and when more layouts are created , the admin can reassign and manage layout configuration without the need to go inside each layout and reassign/edit criteria for layouts.
