Does Gainsight have an API for sending emails?

We have a need to use some custom code rather than a standard email template. In other systems, we can accomplish this with use of their API. I am curious if Gainsight has an API, and specifically, allows functions associated with CoPilot or the Rules Engine. Our end goal would be to send outreaches using the API.

    Hi Ben, Currently we do not have an API for sending emails. Could you elaborate a bit more on what custom code you need to use vs a standard email template? Thanks, Gaurav

    To add to Ben's post, within Microsoft Outlook there is a plugin that syncs Sent/Received emails to SFDC.

    Is there a similar plugin or add-on for Gainsight? My CSMs are wondering if there's an easier way to log their sent/received emails rather than doing a copy/paste.
