Sync Copilot emails to Account not Contact in SFDC

We are sending emails via Copilot and are syncing them back to Salesforce. However, it appears they are syncing to the contact and not the account.

Is there a way to get the task to show on the account in Salesforce?

Hey Lane, Just to be clear. You are creating "tasks" for these emails and then syncing those back to SFDC using our sync to SFDC feature correct?

    Hi Lane,
Thanks for reaching out regarding email sync in Salesforce, however I would like to understand the use cases where you think it's more appropriate to sync contact related email activity to its account.

We are checking the "Sync with Salesforce" box in Copilot.

    Hi Praneet,

This may be the way we setup and use our Salesforce instance. But when we sync this to the contact it doesn't show on the account.

    Team,

I am kicking this over into an idea as it is a feature request. I spoke with our SME in this area and here is what I understand:

Copilot - Syncs to the contact, not the account.
Email Assist - Syncs to the account

Praneet, I could see a use case for wanting to track them at both levels, especially for reporting purposes.
