We have custom picklists in standard and custom objects.

They have been put in a custom order for a reason. Say for example Tiers - Tier1 , Tier2, Tier3, None

When I report on this the sort order unfortunately only alphabetical and puts data in order of None, Tier1, Tier2, Tier3 OR (alphabetical sort - ASC)
Tier3, Tier2, Tier1, None (alphabetical sort - DESC)

We want to see Tier1, Tier2, Tier3, None - the order we have our picklist sorted in to be honored in reporting as well.

 ​​​I am having to put ugly alias names and it does not always resonate with report viewers. Especially when we are presenting this data to our management.
Above is only an example for highlighting the issue.
