Add the ability to manually change the order of tasks within a CTA

I'd like to be able to drag and drop tasks within a CTA so I can adjust the priority of items on a case by case basis.

This issue is becoming more prevalent the further our team dives into Gainsight because we need to be able to have flexibility when working with clients. Our current implementation process has a list of items that must be accomplished, but we change the order of the items to accommodate the customer's needs. It would be helpful to have the tasks update and list according to due date to keep things organized. It would also be nice to be able to add personal tasks and have the ability to move them further up the list.

    Use Case:

    - have a rule generated CTA with a playbook attached
    - go to the CTA under the account (Cockpit)

    - go to add task to the CTA

    - manually entered task goes to the end of all the existing tasks associated to the CTA.

The manual task has a due date that falls in between the due dates of the existing CTA tasks.

Seems like the tasks listed under the CTA should be by due date. Is there any way to get the CTA tasks listed by due date within the Cockpit view of a CTA?

That's an even better explanation! Thanks for chiming in Tom!

    Hi Tom, Heather,

I believe the culprit here is the "Task Display Order" setting under Administration -> Cockpit Configuration:

The "Playbook Order" option is useful when you want us to strictly follow the order of Tasks defined in the Playbook, which implies that newly added Tasks show up at the bottom. If you switch to the "Due Date" option, you should get the correct order.

    Thanks,
    Manu
