We have a Monthly Engagement CTA that goes out for a set of our client base. Some companies have Parent Companies -- which in our case are shell accounts that house child accounts (no unique info on the Parent level). In order to cut down on the amount of CTAs that go out each month, we have the rule set so that the CTA will only trigger for Parent or Solo accounts.
Oftentimes, the sibling companies (movie/production industry) have the same set of contacts. What we’d like to do is have our CSMs click into “Parent Company Monthly CTA” > Timeline tab > Associate all necessary sibling company records.
Currently, CSMs are able to associate Company records on the main Timeline, but not the CTA Timeline. The CTA Timeline allows for better and more consistent reporting. Today, we just have the CSMs put the entry on the Parent company and they write which companies are associated in the notes section.
