Here is the usability idea i have:

-we have multiple custom roles such as employees, customers, partner sales, parter marketing etc. around 10 of them. 

-we also have multiple subcategories based on our product features/editions etc/ ~12 of them.

What would be good if when i set up a subcategory permissions to avoid mistakes and simplify the way to assign rights i could copy permissions from the different subcategory.  Like have an option “Assign permissions like in“ and drop down of subcategories. This way it will be one click only.
