Hi Gainsight team-- we spoke at Pulse regarding a customer's interest in the ability to to create rules based off of 'related lists'.  I understand that this is planned on the roadmap, but wanted to see if you have any insight into ETA/ timing for this?  Thanks!

This is something we need as we continue to fall short in reports when we are unable to make a report, CTA, Rule from a related list because it does not have an account ID to associate to.

We are making good progress on supporting multi-level lookups on SFDC objects (already have it in MDA). Should address this need of building rules and reports on objects that don't directly have the Account reference available.

That is great to hear. Any idea on ETA for this functionality?

Kicking this into an Idea as it is already on the radar.

The first version is getting released this month. The idea is to let you define flattened out spaces by (1) picking fields from multiple joined Salesforce objects (up to 5 levels); and (2) filtering out all the unwanted data/records you don't wish to expose. These can then be used for reporting, building rules, etc.

There will be a few Data Spaces available OOTB, but you can always create more to address your specific requirements.
