The Popular Topics table on the Content analytics dashboard provides a lot of interesting insight: views, replies, likes, and content helpfulness. All filterable by dates.

But it’s lacking some key information you can’t get without clicking into the individual topics: publish date, category (unless you’ve filtered by a category, in which you won’t get a sense of how your most popular topics are distributed), etc.

My interest would be in seeing columns for:

  • Public Tags
  • Moderator Tags
  • Category
  • Publish Date

However, I’m sure others would want to see other columns. And all of these would take up space.

Therefore, my recommendation is for editable columns in the Popular Topics table in the same way as the Content moderation views. Doing so would empower community managers with self-service options for content analytics.

Thank you @DannyPancratz for raising this idea. I'm curious about which other columns others would like to see in this table.

@Aleksandra Most of the columns in the Content Moderation view would be ideal.

But my preferences above are about getting a sense of the topic content from category and tags that you can’t get from the title, as well as date context to understand if it’s new within that time period or legacy content that’s trending lately.
