The new Q&A Dashboard is a big step up!
In using it, I realized a few more features that would build on these latest improvements:
- Filter by Public Tag
- Filter by Moderator Tag
- Assigned Moderator (I don’t use this, but I image others would)
We already have most of what I want for filters:
- Timeframe
- Published In
- Question Author Role
- Answer Answer Role
Use cases for Tags:
Easy to monitor reporting (and additional data points like avg response time) for segments of questions (beyond where it’s published).
For me, I’ve started using moderator tags to segment and track different types of questions ( how to, troubleshooting, functionality). I’d like to compare and contrast answer % and avg response time. (I can get to answer % via the export or filtering the content overview, but it’s more work. Avg response time I can’t really do easily on my own).
Similar use case for public tags. I’d be curious to compare response times of certain tags vs others. That could be an interesting data point for our our product and training teams: which areas of the product are answered slow/fast? Is that due to training and lack of experts or perhaps something with the product?
For me, I’m standardizing tags and building slack alerts to engage internal SMEs on those topics. Being able to filter the Q&A dashboard by public tags would be an easy way to measure the effectiveness of this tactic.
For Assigned Moderator, I’m not using that and no plans to do so. But I can easily imagine other customers wanting that filter to more easily benchmark moderator performance.
