Hi,

I love the menu overview on the Knowledge Base - example attached below using inSpired’s very own content  - as it’s really helpful for highlighting to users all the information that’s available to them.

It’d be really useful to also show a menu like above, or a ‘related articles’ (instead of ‘related topics’) widget once a user clicks into an article.

For example, if I select General information > New to the inSpired Community?, I lose visibility of the menu above. If I don’t find the info I need within the selected article, I then have to click ‘back’ to the General information page to see what other articles are available.

As a user, including a menu once I click into an article would allow me to see/remember all the information available and select what I need directly from there.

Reducing the number of clicks needed may help encourage our users to select and read our knowledge base content

Hi @NatTho thanks for sharing this idea! I like the suggestion to show more relevant content in the sidebar, e.g. ‘related articles’ as you mentioned. How would you define the related articles? Are they articles from the same category?

I’ll put this idea to open and gather more votes and input from others :)

Hey @xiaoyu-shen

Thanks!

Absolutely - I think showing other articles from the same category would make the most sense, and be more likely to help users who haven’t quite found the information they need, but want to easily browse other similar knowledge articles
