We had a feedback from one of our clients - in case there are several reaction to one thread, they get notified every single time, which can mean 20 emails a day.

When this happens, they simply erase all of them, because the number is too high.

If there was an option to send these email notifications only once in a day, like an overview of what happened, that would be an ideal solution.

The way the current email notifications are built, should actually prevent this from happening. Here’s how it currently works:

  • For topics that you created or are subscribed to, we send an email notification for the first reply
  • For the replies after that, we do not send notifications, unless you open the thread from one of those emails; in that case, we’ll notify you again for the first reply after that

If this is not the case, please reach out to support so that we can look into this further.
