I think it would be helpful to have a place in the Rules Engine, or even Administration, where you can enter a master email list for when you want to receive the email notifications upon success or failure.  This way I don't have to update every rule or rule chain when something changes (even though best practice is to have a catchall email address independent of a person's employment).
Chris - I'm sure this would be overwhelming as a single setting for all. It will require more sophistication in Relationship Type that the admin is concerned and the product areas that the admin is concerned about.

All said, I see the value in having it at the feature level rather at each asset.. I'll bounce this with the team once.

Welcome more thoughts and perspectives here.

100% am on board with starting at the asset level, and I think our customers would really appreciate that.  I think we should keep a "one stop setting" on the table, especially when we hear concerns that administering the product can be time consuming.
A daily summary of rule execution, in addition to the "real-time" notifications that can be applied to "critical" rules, may be an interesting way to expose this information. That way an admin receives the holistic view of rule execution and is not dependent on navigating to the rules engine tool every day to do so.

Related question -- can a report be built to summarize rule execution information? Building a report to surface this information in our "admin dashboard" would also work.
Nora - It is not possible since the data is unstructured and not exposed for reporting yet. We are considering to structure the data and expose it for reporting but it would be a while before we see it.
Definitely agreed. I'm having to manually check 200+ rules right now for if a notification failure email is being set for scheduled Rules, and if it is, I have to update it to my own email address. Quite time consuming.
