It would be really nice to be able to have activities added to timeline automatically posted to chatter.  Or at the very least give the user the option to post that activity to chatter.  This would really help our productivity.

This is coming up for us now.  We have quite a bit of noise in the Activity History section on accounts in SF, and are getting feedback that our sales reps need better and easier visibility to Timeline posts.  We do currently have them syncing to Activity History.  Ideal state would be we could sync them to Chatter, and perhaps if an Internal Attendee was added, we could @ that person so that they got the notification of the post.

+1 here as well. I think a toggled functionality or checkbox on the timeline entry "Post to Chatter" would improve the communication between the sales and post sales team and alleviate the need to create duplicate posts or copy/paste.

+1 to this. It's great that GS now syncs to SF in real-time but Activity History can be noisey and our sellers usually only work/update opportunities. This would be a nice way to improve cross-functional collaboration and communication between our sales and services teams.

This is a nice to have for one of my clients as well. They are not BIG slack users but they are intense SFDC ones. So, having stuff pop up on chatter could be quite useful and help with transparancy.

This would put our major communications all in one place for our teams and would be a HUGE win. Any update?
