As the Community Manager I have conversations all the times with users in PM’s on behalf of my company.   When it comes to accountability, metrics and sharing customer success I would like to share or mark conversations as action items or tag them for use in metrics.   At the very least I would love to be able to give access to view my MP’s to another admin or create a report or export.

Any ideas?

Hi Juan, we won’t be making any significant investments into private messages in the foreseeable future. However, even if we do, we will not make it possible to share private messages or conversations with others for security reasons. For that reason, I’m closing this idea. I do see some other ideas between the lines, such as the ability to get analytics/reports on private messages, as well as the ability to mark private messages as action items (for instance, by marking them unread). Feel free to share these ideas separately so they can get some exposure :)

I get you Seb.  My view was more of an agent of the company interacting with customers akin to sales and marketing than private conversations.   You get customer wins through these PM’s, but they are very difficult to share or add to a metric.
