We’d like the ability to set an “Out of Office” message or status.
This recently came up for us as one of our team members will be out of office for a chunk of time and being the Community Team, our community reaches out to us for support.
Potential solutions:
- Create a label that appears next to the member’s name anywhere on the community. If a member clicks on that label or the member’s profile, then they’ll see in their profile information more information about the “out of office” badge.
- Create a warning message when someone tags the member who is out of office. This would be a notification/warning message that alerts the other member that the member is out of office and might not see their tag.
- Automate the action so that the user who is going out of office only needs to share their start and end dates and whatever action occurs automatically goes up and goes down based on the start and end time (think your typical out of office automated message in email).
