This book changed my life
People tend to think that success fuels happiness, when in actuality, it is happiness that breedsĀ success.
The book outlines the many ways you can train your brain to choose happiness, and in doing so, you might just find that success is more likely to come your way. One of the principles learned in this bookĀ that Iāve chosen to adopt is practicing gratitude. Itās simple- each day I jot down 3 things I am grateful for. It can be work-related or personal, big or small.
Hereās an example:Ā Ā
This exercise not only helps to find the good parts of each day but also makes it easier to spot them as time goes on, training our brains to highlight positives instead of negatives. This practice has improved my overall mood and outlook on life and I feel that it has opened my mind up to more creative problem-solving.Ā
Ā
So what on Earth does my daily gratitude practice have to do with Gainsightās multi-products?
Ā
Integrations are HARD.
Getting different products to play nicely with each other is HARD.
Getting data to do what you want it to do is HARD.
It is easy to get bogged down by these HARD things, focus on the negatives, and blur the path forward. But what if we applied the practice of daily gratitude to our work with multi-products? Will we be more likely to apply creative solutions? Will sharing our positives with each other inspire one another? Will ourĀ day-to-day tasks become more joyful? Will our work-selves align more closely with our personal values? Letās find out!Ā

Share some of your gratitudes below. They can be personal, work-related, or multi-product specific. Iāll get us started:
- I used the new PX Connector and it was so much easier!
- I worked out an issue I was having with a Period over Period % change metric that I needed for a drop in adoption CTA rule
- Received positive feedback on the data model visual I created of a customerās PX+CS integrationĀ
