During our recent Office Hours, a customer inquired about how to find specific progression and completion data based on their percentage progression. We identified that using the Multiple Course Analysis Report would be best for this:
Have a question or want to talk through a topic? Drop in here with sessions twice a week (Monday’s and Wednesdays) two times a day: https://events.zoom.us/ev/AkBvTn7gHNB6VG_1Rkaf4xIkpF0iHPFMnQe_tPu-ZxmKhEQWVerc~AuMinFLKgQ3YmMXqZ_z27-MGsLjfIvayJhpvuKa1bwDF9JOYHk_k7TY3yQ
Filtering out 0% learners:
- By adjusting the progress filter in the Multiple Course Analysis report from 0–100% to 1–100%, we excluded learners who hadn’t started the course content.
- This gave a clear picture of true engagement—19 out of 20 learners completed the 101 course, and the one outlier was at 66%.
Finding learners who have started vs. only enrolled:
- We then filtered the report to 0–0% progress to isolate learners who hadn’t made progress yet.
- The “Attempt Start” column helped us see the difference; learners with a timestamp have clicked “Start Course,” while blank fields indicate those who’ve enrolled but haven’t begun.
