Hey All! I’m in the process of shifting a 13-year-old community (150,000 members) from Khoros into Gainsight. Part of the move is bringing our 7-year-old Customer Advocacy program under the same roof. I personally believe both programs are stronger when they’re together. I’d love to connect with others who have this same setup within Gainsight to chat about what works, areas of opportunity, etc. 

 

If you’re one of these customers, let me know! I’m excited to see the Community community moving in the direction of bringing both together, but it takes sharing brainpower to move the needle on a bigger scale. Let me know if you’d like to chat about it! 😀

@laura.porcincula We were planning to use an out-of-the-box page, but we need this functionality to do so. I think it’s important to have image previews across every forum, so I wouldn’t want the need for a custom page. 

 

This is one of those things that seems small, but is a HUGE support when it comes to shifting Community activities into a modern strategy. I’m hoping it can be put in place without too much effort, because it’s holding up key elements we believe will strengthen our community.

Hi ​@JeniA, we’ve done a form of this where our advocacy efforts are bundled into our general “power user” program, which we run through our Gainsight community. If that sounds like it would be relevant at all, I’m happy to chat!

@laura.porcincula - Wow….I should have scrolled up before responding. 😅 I thought your message was based on a post I made last week, not on this one from six months ago. Goodness. Sorry for the confusion! So, yes. We built a custom space for our Customer Advocacy program within our broader community. It’s working well. Customers must have permission of an advocate to enter the space. Then they can see a “secret” page where they can connect. Others can learn about the program, but not enter. Happy to share more, if that’s of interest!

 

@mbuuck1 - Thank you! Ours is up and running and working well now. It doesn’t have all the functionality that I’d prefer, but I hope that will come with time as Gainsight further develops their platform. 😀
