Hi @Gainsight CC Team  Is there any plan to deliver on completed profile analysis? I know there is this idea: Add a profile completion badge | Gainsight Community, but open for a while now.
Profile completion is a solid community metric.
Thanks

Hi @sarahmasterton-brown - Are you mostly thinking about this in terms of driving an automation or for reporting?  We indeed don’t have anything native around profile completion right now.  But I suspect an automation could be built using something like Workato or Zapier, using the integration.UserProfileUpdated webhook.  For example, if a user profile has been updated (triggered by webhook), then pull that user and check if the profile fields are now complete, and potentially perform an action based on that (e.g. badge assignment or simply add row to sheet).  This would need some more thought (e.g. also include the webhook for new registrations) but I suspect it’s possible. Alternatively, reporting from the data lake could also be an option.

Thanks @sarahmasterton-brown for mentioning the idea.  We do not have profile completion triggers for assigning the badge at this moment and will not be picking this feature soon. we will collect more feedback and check how we can add to our roadmap . Alternatively as Kenneth mentioned you can use the API to assign the badge for more custom workflow solution

Thanks for the transparency @deepan  and great intel @Kenneth R  Honestly, I haven't delved into the Zapier world but I know I should!!

Yep it’s actually a lot of fun.  I’ve never been able to work with APIs myself before either, but I decided to just sit down and learn it (Workato) quite recently. It’s quite amazing when you pull-off bulk badge assignment or mass content-conversion via an API automation you built yourself for the first time.  🙂 With a bit of help from a friendly AI it’s all very doable even if you’re not technical.

Thanks @Kenneth R  You’ve given me the inspiration to learn how to do it. Will report back!

Wonderful @sarahmasterton-brown !  Let us know how you get on.  :)
