Reproduction steps:

  1. Create a new topic on the moderation platform and add a horizontal line

  2. Navigate to the front-end side of the community and edit the post.

  3. Save changes and observe that the Horizontal line has disappeared. The front end text box appears not to have it as an option.

  4.

  5. Editing posts on the back-end does not remove the line.

Hi James,

thanks for sharing this report here with us. I will file a ticket for this so that it can be looked at.

It is expected that the front-end editor has fewer features than the editor in the Control Environment, other features you will not find in the front-end are e.g. callouts.

I think it is not expected that saving an edit removes such items, at least I cannot recall this happening e.g. with callouts. So probably this is a bug and hopefully we will be able to fix this soon.

Thanks Julian,

The post that I noticed this on also has a few callout boxes and those don’t get removed. Thanks for looking into it!
