How can I set it up so that if a community member (customer) asks a question, our internal team is notified via email (or in a slack channel)?

Ideally this would be without needing to assign an individual as a moderator, but any time a new topic is created our team gets notified outside of the insided platform so that they can jump in and answer the question/keep tabs on it

Hi @jackford

This is absolutely doable. We do the same thing here at inSpired.

There is an article here on the slack >< inSided integration.

This is the particular piece you are interested in.

I would also recommend you tell your users about the custom KEYWORD notification feature of Slack.

Very useful to have your SMEs immediately aware of topics they can contribute on.

Hi @Alistair FIeld - thank you for providing the information on the slack integration. But, could you please provide more information on an email-based option/solution? Thank you.

Hi @ryan.dunlap 👋,

I’m wondering if asking your colleagues to subscribe to a particular category (e.g. a FAQ category) would achieve what you are looking to do here:

Subscribing to a category will mean that they receive an email whenever a new topic is posted to the category.
