I can see how to add a link but not how to remove a link. Can someone enlighten me? Or is the only option to delete the linked text completely and retype it?

Meh 🫤 - better would be a unlink option in the WYSIWYG
There is a slightly easier way.
Double click the link in the editor, copy/cut the text you want to keep, delete the link and simply paste the text back in.
