We’re going to be using Service Now for cases and a knowledgebase. Is there any sort of out of the box integration between Insided and Service Now? We’d like to have a federated search, to surface ServiceNow resources within the Insided community.

unfortunately, we do not have an integration for Service now to be used as federated search within the community.

We already have integrated Zendesk search in the past, but I am not sure if there will be such an integration with Service Now as well.

Usually it works the other way around, that you integrate your community search on your website / service page / knowledge base via our API.

Maybe you want to create this as an idea on our community, so that others can vote if they also want such an integration, and that the product team reviews and responds to it?


At the moment we support federated search integrations with Zendesk Guide and Salesforce because we see that more customers are preferring to use their community homepage as the main entry point for all their customer support and engagement. As inSided we strive to be this main entry point.

Service Now could possibly be a good next integration to look into for us. We’d love to know if there are more customers interested in this integration. As Julian mentioned already it would be great if you could create an idea on our ideation board so that we can see if others are interested as well and we can evaluate the next steps :)
