Hey all! Now that we’re back (and hopefully rested) from Pulse, I thought it would be great to share some insights for both those who came, as well as those who couldn’t make it. After all, we couldn’t attend everything. And we likely took away different tid-bits from the things we shared together.

I’ll start… 🙂

I was especially grateful when Nick Mehta shared that we didn’t come for the content. 🤯 Correct, sir. We came first for each other. I shared more thoughts on this (along with my highlight of who I LOVED seeing) in this LinkedIn Post. Check it out, and let me know your thoughts!

What did you take away from Pulse? Let’s share and get the wheels turning, friends! 🙌🏻

Thanks for sharing this, @JeniA 🙌🏽

Hope you enjoy watching Wicked too 😉

@revathimenon It’s on my to-do list! 🤪

I thought there was quite a bit of community + education together. I’ll be trying to deepen our connection with:

  • Badges in Community for Certification in Academy
  • Links to Community after Course Completion
  • Links to Academy in Header Nav (was listed as icon on bottom)
  • Featured Courses on the Community Homepage

We’ll also use the community to ask customers what courses they’d like to see and (once we have a bit more activity) what topics are trending and could warrant a new course.

I’d love to hear if others have some recommended community and learning use cases.

And of course what other takeaways people have!

@Kgastaldo - I like the idea of featuring courses on the Community homepage. We haven’t done that in the past, but it would be a great driver to get folks over looking at our course selection.

I’m curious, @juan.delrio, what was your highlight/key learnings?

My two highlights were the Education thinktank, where members shared all the tools they where using to make education work in their environments.

The other, was of course, Danny’s presentation that spurred me to try more automation for the community.  I am working on the event sequence and I am waiting to try zapiers llm to create the automations.

I’d love to start working on a community-education cross-pollination but I have to rebuild all the content there first.   Baby steps!

Always baby steps, @juan.delrio! 😉 Thanks for sharing!

Looks like I have to check out that presentation by @DannyPancratz on the Pulse Library. This is the second time it’s mentioned in the posts I’m scanning this morning 😀

Danny is the the face of Community Automation, all his talks are amazing.

Awww shucks 😊

Here’s the presentation link for 2025 and more on automation from 2024.

I love the sharing of resources! Thanks for such valuable content, @DannyPancratz! 👏🏻

Also watched them in the meantime. Great talks, @DannyPancratz. Really valuable content and you’re an amazing speaker (storytelling, structure, focus on the right messages...)!
