We got this error in our community, weeks ago, and now it is here as well:

 

 

This occurs when you type your post and press Send.

Please fix this and asap, this is annoying because your post disappears and because there is no automatic draft to restore the content you have to start all over again.

This is difficult bug because this doesnt occur all the time. At the moment seems to work ok.


Hey @revote we have had this challenge as well, and the explanation is that this is (was) likely due to a token expiration that was implemented for security reasons, which meant that a page (for instance opened in a new tab) that hadn’t seen activity for more than an hour would go “stale”, and you would lose your unsent scribbles. It has recently been fixed and pages won’t go stale until after 10 hours, so you should have plenty of time to scribble on your draft, now. :) 


Hmm, this was not the case here, because I just opened the community and start posting immediatelly 😃 With no several tabs open.

In our community, perhaps. But not here.


Several users, as well as our team, keep encountering the error message ‘Something went wrong’ when posting a message or reply. The post is then lost. While using Ctrl + Z often brings the message back, not all of our members know this trick, and they get frustrated when they have to retype their message.

There’s no clear pattern to when this happens; we’ve experienced it multiple times over the past year and have opened support tickets, but so far, no clear answer or cause has been identified.

Some of our regular members are becoming quite irritated, and it's starting to affect their engagement.

I think we dont get this as often than before?

But, we had problem to reply certain topic last week. All the other topics worked fine but not that one topic. We got same familiar error “Something’s gone wrong”.

I created a ticket about it and they said they have certain issue caused it and it is fixed last week.
