As our community management group continues to grow, we’re interested in hearing what topics would be valuable to discuss in the group. Here’s what we’re thinking for future topics:

  • Advocacy, past gamification

  • Driving engagement with Groups feature

  • Community reporting

  • Getting customers (end users) registered

Please comment below and suggest a future round table topic!

I vote for advocacy past gamification or reporting.

FYI: I am no longer active in this community

    Hi @Jeanie Lee,

    I vote for:

    • Advocacy, past gamification (same as @DannyPancratz)

I love the topics you’ve outlined!

I’d love to hear how people are using their communities in different ways to support different functions.

    1. Product
    2. Marketing
    3. Support
    4. Documentation
    5. Sales
    6. Customer Success

Would love to explore different community member lifecycles

I’m sure I’ll come up with more..

    Some thoughts:

    • Reporting (and how best to automate data flow with inSided and other internal tools)
    • Advanced use cases with API - making your community less manual and more automated
    • inSided data object and ways others are using it)
    • Internal and external ambassador programs
    • Community management as a team of one and when to hire/grow teams

    @Jeanie Lee
thanks for leading us through the first round table! was great to hear from Brian and to meet other Community Managers (hi @katie.fair @Anitahg @Rodrigo!).

As you mentioned towards the end of the session, the topic definitely felt a little broad, so I’m really eager to see how we can get it a little more tailored and actionable in the future. One feedback that I had was that it felt like it ended earlier than I expected - not sure if others felt that way, but I’m pretty sure it was scheduled from 12:30-1:30 ET, but ended 15min early? Maybe we could do a time check in the future to ensure one last question could be addressed? Unless I perhaps missed an announcement that it would end at a certain time!

Thanks again, and appreciate folks sharing their strategies and tips.
Was great to meet you all,
    -Cass.
