Why doesn't the link open as soon as I click on an image?

If I want to do an insert link on an image, the link will only open if the user holds CTRL and then clicks on the image. In my experience this is not very user-friendly. Why doesn't the link open as soon as I click on an image that has a link attached to it?

    Hi Moller,

    apologies that you had to wait a few days for a reply on this…

    I see what you mean when you say this is not very user-friendly. The thing is that this functionality (hyperlinks in images) is not properly supported yet.

    The reason why you see this behaviour has to do with the way regular images work: You can click on images to get them enlarged to see more details. So this also is the same when you add a link to that image.

    We probably will improve this by changing the click behaviour once a hyperlink has been added, however we have not defined precisely as to when this will happen.
