Emails that are sent to Timeline often incldues a summary of a meeting.
Using rules, we capture the last meeting date from timeline entries with Type=Meeting.
When using Email to Timeline, they are recorded as Emails.
We would like to have the option to change the Activity Type to Meeting.

2 Related requests that I would be happy to see. Thanks for linking.
In case of Email2Timeline, this becomes more significant because emails represent different types of activities (meeting, call, update, etc.).
Thanks.

Hi
Changing Activity Type functionality has been shipped. Once the emails are logged to the timeline as Email Activity Type, you can go and change the Activity Type to Meeting. Hope that answers your questions.
