We’ve been working really hard on the next iteration of the Content Dashboard. Next to that we added two more color configurations to control and we’ve added a visual indicator that tells the difference between read and unread topics. Read on to learn more.

Content dashboard

The Content dashboard got a huge makeover, a new design, improved functionality and better UX. Read Improved Content Dashboard is now live!!! for all the details.

Configure introduction widget colors

You can now change the background- and text color for the introduction widget that is displayed on the community homepage. By default these colors are inherited from the Background color and Text color. Head over to Control > Appearance > Colors to configure the colors.

Improvements 🤒

- Read/unread topics indicator: Users that have the setting enabled that indicates that there are new replies on a topic will also have a visual indicator that tells whether they’ve opened a topic before or not. Topics that have been opened before will have a slightly dimmed topic title color. This is especially useful when a topic hasn’t new comments but you’re not sure if you read the topic before.

- Create topic: We’ll always show the create topic functionality in the community navigation, regardless the page or logged in/out state of the visitor. This way it’s always clear that there is a possibility to create a topic.

Fixed 🐛

- Data in content dashboard: Issue where likes & replies data were not showing properly in the content dashboard
