We have some products that are not yet on Gainsight, but we would still like to send outreach to them via JO. If I upload a CSV, will this fail if it cannot find a record for them in SFDC? Trying to understand if I cannot send it to customers using this product if we don't have it on Gainsight/SFDC yet.



Hi @kypowell, just to clear out the doubt, if you are going to use only Email step in the program, you have nothing to worry about. You can choose to bring any email address via a CSV and start the journey for those people and it would work out.





But, if you plan to use any of the Gainsight features like Survey, CTA etc. which are also supported in Programs (unlikely if you don't have your data in gainsight), in that case the journey might fail with errors similar to no valid account or company found.





NOTE : You will still see SFDC Account / Company ID as a mandatory field in the programs Field mapping configuration page based on the Gainsight Edition you are using even if you choose to go with only email steps. Don't worry, you can map any value/header from your CSV file to that field and it will not be validated.
