Does SFDC Field Level Security apply to visibility in Gainsight?

I'm bringing in our CSM CSAT scores to SFDC.  Only the manager level profiles have visibility into the field.  If I pull that onto a dashboard will those securities still apply or will all CSMs be able to see the values?  

I just viewed a dashboard as a CSM and DID see the field that they shouldn't be able to see because of FLS, which I'm a little surprised at.

How do I add a field that only managers can see?

    Field level security is not honoured in reports and dashboards.
