Hey,

I recently tested using an email assist task to email one of our users with some best practices information on using our product. But since he isn't a contact in salesforce (same with the vast majority of our users) the email didn't want to go out. Is it possible to override this block? or is there a way I can import all of our users into a data space and use those, or even import them and add them as "contacts" to the correct customer account with a lookup. we don't want these users as contacts in our salesforce instance but to drive adoption we need to send them emails. (PS we will be setting up an outreach via programs to do alot of this but we will still need to use this for some specific cases)

thanks,

Hi Oscar.

Are you using any tokens in the template ? You can send to email addressess which are not in the contact object, but if there are any tokens it wont allow sending out the email till you delete them.

Let me know if that works.
