Hello, My org has added the Gainsight account widget to Salesforce but the Gainsight data is not showing up. The widget on the account is only showing two messages:

  1. This Account is not added to the Gainsight Customer Repository!
  2. We’re sorry. Gainsight standard access is restricted in this tab. Please contact your Gainsight admin to get this resolved.

I’ve been reading various articles and it seems to be something to do with the permissions, but i wanted to reach out to the GS community as well to see if anyone else has had this issue.

@Tburns34 - it could be a few things. I would check user permissions. 

 

First, you will need to make sure that all the steps are completed in the SFDC connector: https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/03Connectors/Salesforce_Connector/Salesforce_Connector_Overview?mt-learningpath=salesforceconnector_path

If your SFDC users get the error you mentioned above, it’s likely an issue with them not having access to Gainsight. Here’s how you would provide them with view permission in Gainsight:

If you’ve gone through all the steps and it’s still not working, I would contact Gainsight Support. There’s quite a few settings in SFDC and its possible that something on that side is causing the error.
