Gainsight will push the Winter 5.11 release upgrade to production orgs* on February 20. In the meantime, we've prepared a few resources to introduce Admins and end users to the new features.

  • Check out this 7-min. video to see the release highlights.

  • For end users, share these slides to illustrate what's new.

  • Draft release notes are available now. The final published version will be posted on Feb. 20.
For Admins, we're also offering 2 different live webinars to review the Winter enhancements:

  • Winter Release Webinar #1 on Tuesday, February 27 from 8:30 AM-9:30 AM PT - Sign Up - Adv. Outreach, Bionic Rules and Cross-org migration

  • Winter Release Webinar #2 on Thursday, March 1 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM PT - Sign Up - Cockpit/Success Plans/Timeline, and Permissions & Sharing Settings
*Gainsight automatically pushes upgrades to orgs who are not opted out. To change your org's opt-out status, please contact csm@gainsight.com with your Org ID.
Thans Lila! Two questions:

  1. It looks like the table of Contents in the Release Notes is not in line with later pages. For example, the TOC shows CoPilot as 2.4, but the document has CoPilot as 2.3. This makes it hard to find those details.

  2. I am SO HAPPY that the option to "Log Emails to Salesforce" is now available for Advanced Outreaches. However, I have a question. Once the release is live, will I be able to check this box for Outreaches that are already active? Or will it inly be able to be modified for unpublished outreaches.
Thanks!
Hi Ben,

Sorry about the TOC errors! These are just draft release notes from a week ago, and the final published version will be available on Feb. 20. If this setting is enabled for an AO already in progress, it will log all emails sent going forward.
Thanks for the update!

Quick question regarding Dashboard permissions: Where do Admins edit those permissions? Previously it was through the Dashboard Builder but that 'Permissions" tab has been removed. Couldn't find any documentation on where that was moved to. Thanks for the help!
Manmeet, we actually had a problem with the enhancements to permissions in v.511. Please see this post for details.
Oh perfect! Thanks Lila!
