We're trying to setup a rule through which we can send emails to customers with certain engagement criteria, low login rates for example. To create the rule we select the rule type as engagement and setup the rule criteria. However, at the setup action step we're not able to select send email. Is this not supported at all for the engagement rule type? Is there another way to do this.





Any ideas?
Hi Shashank, the 'Send Email' action is not supported with the Engagement type rule. In general, the 'Engagement' type rule is less flexible (as it was our first iteration on Rules Engine) and does not have a lot of the advantages/functionality of a 'Custom' rule type. I would recommend building your rules as a 'Custom' rule whenever possible.





'Custom' rule types do support the 'Send Email' action but have you tried using CoPilot? It's a much easier/integrated setup process to send automated emails - I would certainly start here if you haven't checked it out yet!
