limit task sync to only important tasks or filtered options

We would like to be able to limit the tasks synced to Salesforce by applying a filter or flag. This will allow only certain users to sync tasks versuses all users.

    Hi Leslie,

    I would recommend you to turn off 'Auto-sync task to SFDC' option in Administration > Task Configuration and use rules engine to sync tasks.

    Via rules engine, you can select different criteria (like task text or name, task owner, etc.) and sync the relevant tasks to salesforce using 'Load to SFDC Object' action.

    Hi Leslie,

    Can you give me more details about the use case. Do you want to sync tasks of a specific reason/ type or do you want to sync all tasks of only certain users?

    We would like to either be able to apply a filter to a task (example, on task text or name) or be able to sync for certain users. We have use cases for both.
