I created a new field on the account in Salesforce and I want to map it to a field in Gainsight. How do I do that?

Hi Kara,
Do you want to load the data from Salesforce to Gainsight, or from Gainsight to Salesforce?

I want to lead the data from Gainsight to Salesforce.
Super
This should be doable via the Rules Engine. Here is a good KB for that topic: https://support.gainsight.com/Product_Documentation/Rules_Engine/Admin_Configuration/Use_Rules_to_Lo...
Yes, I saw that and was following the instructions, but when I get to the part about setting up the action I don't have any fields in the drop down on the right to associate to the fields I dragged into the Show area.
Totally. I've been there.
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.
- Hit "Permissions - Rules Load Actions".
- On that page you'll need to pick the object you are working with (Accounts, Opportunities, etc.).
- Hit the plus icon to add the selected object
- Select the object you added in the list below.
- Now pick the fields you want to be able to load info to and add them to the column on the right.
Champion Ben to the rescue! 🙂
