New UI - Access to Salesforce Tabs does not appear to be Sticky

Am liking the new UI rolled out this morning but at least on our org it appears the navigation to Salesforce tabs is not sticky
On the PPT deck circulated about the enhancemets, on the slide titled Primary Navigation it says we can use the chevrons top right to display the Salesforce tabs and that this is sticky.

However:
  • I go to Customers tab/list view
  • I click on the chevrons to show the SFDC tabs
  • I click on Cockpit - it hides the tabs so I click on the chevrons again
  • I then click back on the Customers tab and the SFDC tabs are hidden again
  • I click back on Cockpit and the same - the screen returns to show "maximised" view of Gainsight
Is something wrong ? Is this org or browser specific ?

Any guidance/input appreciated.

Any updates on this? We're having the same issue here at Five9 now after the new update today. This behavior was not present until today.

Apologies for the confusion, Ben. We have made this selection sticky, but some changes got reverted before the latest release went out. We'll include a fix in the next patch.

Any idea when the next patch will be? We're having this same issue today.
