I am trying to add Sally but am having an issue with Slack permissions even though it recognizes me as an admin ("You are signed in as Jeremy Curry, an Admin of ******.slack.com). I have a ticket in with support but has anyone else run into issues like this?
I was able to set it up even though I'm [i]not a Slack admin. I wonder if your Slack is set up with locked-down permissions for adding apps?
Hi Jeremy, Seth,

Ability to add apps depends on the App Permissions that are set. Please refer to the following link for more information: https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us/articles/222386767. If you are not able to add an app, it is likely because of the permissions set by the team owner.

Possible reasons for not being able to add Sally can be:

  • Only Workspace owner can add apps.

  • Only Apps published on App directory can be added (Approval for publishing Sally in Slack App directory is in progress).

Where can I find a list of the permissions that Sally needs in order to integrate with my team's Slack?
