We are launching Spaces soon and have a couple of questions:

  1. Customer Logo in Spaces - How does a customer upload a logo? I have uploaded our logo but am not able to view it in preview mode or see how a customer will update their logo. 
  1. Customize Spaces Header - Will their be a way to standardize a Welcome Header for our CSMs to modify versus creating from scratch every time?
  1. Will the documents feature be accessible in Spaces?
  2. When will the Customer Goals and Metrics be accessible in Spaces?

Please find the answers to your queries below:

  1. The Banner widget displays two logos: your company logo and the customer’s logo. The company logo is sourced from the Community Control app branding; if unavailable, it defaults to the tenant logo in the application settings. The customer logo is pulled from the Company object. Both logos must be present in their respective sources; otherwise, neither will appear. Logo is a standard field in the Company object.

  2. There is no need to build the banner from scratch. Admins can set the default banner settings while creating the Spaces layout. Additionally, CSMs have the flexibility to modify it as well.

  3. Externally hosted document links can be added to the Spaces Notes widget today. With the Q3 release in November, native support for uploading documents and sharing them as attachments via Spaces will be introduced. This feature is part of the upcoming release.

  4. Both features are being targeted for upcoming releases; they are on the roadmap.
